Where Buds used to be.
Way classy fancy K-Street now compared to Buds. Personally, I miss Buds, I have good memories of when BackYard used to play there on Monday nights, the buffet, the affordable drinks, the feel of it. I am not a fan of Go-Gos that have pillows on the chaise-lounges behind velvet ropes. Give me black spray paint on plywood, not slate, marble, and chrome. That said, it is good to have more places in DC that host Go-Gos. Note, all the slate and marble or whatever is NOT good for the acoustics. But certainly a better place to bring your date if she likes the classy K-Street look more than the warehouse look.
